If you can find a direct link to Google photos you should be able to catalog it. If you figure that out, let us know because as far as I know, Google Photos is no longer accessible in On1. Not On1's fault, google changed that themselves.

I've had google drive and photos disabled for quite a while now. I just enabled them both to see if anything has changed and I don't see any way to link to Google photos.

Doubt I'll be able to figure that out.  Thanks for response anyway.

From what I've read you would have to move any photos manually from photos to drive.

It's a bit of a clunky process. In the Photos app select the photos you want to move, press the share button, select Drive then select the folder in Drive and select save.

Thanks to David K - yep I figured that for a work around but its just as easy to download the photos to a local drive and proceed to edit from there which makes a link to Google Drive in the Cloud Storage section rather pointless.

Attempting to move from Adobe to ON1 is proving to be exceedingly frustrating. Great help on the community forums such as this but TBH I think the battle is all but lost at this point...

So I've been poking around all day to see if there is a workaround to the Google Photos problem. It's difficult to tell because when searching for info, documents from 2017 keep coming up which no longer apply, but I think I did find a current page with a possible solution.

According to this page (see attached), Google Backup and Sync 'should' transfer files from Google Drive on your PC to Google Photos and back again which means you may be able to edit the copies on your PC, export them from On1 back to the Google Drive folder where they will upload back to Google Photos. BUT, I can't try it because it turns out that my CAMERA is not compatible!!!!!

After spending a lot of time to figure this out only to be stopped because Google Sync is ignoring my Raw files.

So, If someone has a camera COMPATIBLE with Google sync, it's up to you to try and get Google Drive, Photos and Sync talking to each other. I'm not able to go any further with it.

First off I'm bowled over with the response to all my 'idiot newcomer' questions on this forum there's clearly a great community of dedicated users here. Many thanks to all its appreciated.

In respect of Google Photos, for me (I don't have sophisticated or demanding needs for this its more holiday snaps) it would have been a nice to have direct access so for the occasions I need an image off Google Pictures I'll just download it to a local drive.

I've now disabled the cloud storage facility in ON1.
