Deleting the setting file

 I have the Scratch Folder Location and the PerfectBrowseCache  on an external SSD drive. Will deleting the setting file will delete or affect my catalog folders? do I have to recreating them and move them back again to my external SSD????

  It will not delete them but it will tell the program to revert back to the default location which will start rebuilding the catalogs and filling your C: drive again. After deleting the setting file immediately go to Preferences and reset the locations back to your external SSD then Quit and restart the program again.
