    Me too. I created a ticket and the reply was... wait for it.....install the newest video driver! Still the same.

    Edit: To be fair, they did find errors in the log file pointing to the video card, and they did reply quickly. They are doing their best, just placing too much emphasis on new functionality and not on the core product.

    Scrolling the browse window (On Mac) up and down seems to refresh te view. After restarting On1 the problem returns.

    Since I had other versions of On1 software, I thought I might be causing the issue due to older files.

     

    So I uninstalled 2020.1 and then proceeded to remove all other older On1 software including their settings and their folders. Then I installed 2020.1 again.

     

    Unfortunately it didn't make a difference.

     

    Before uninstalling On1 Photo RAW I opened it and browsed the photos, the thumbnails were tack sharp so I know it's not something related to my files.

    This is on Windows 10 with the latest nvidia drivers.

    Are catalogs building for any of you? If so, they may be causing the rest of the program to slow down including rendering in Browse.

    Hover over your catalog to see what % it's at.

    Mine says 100% done.

     

    I noticed after the reinstall the CPU maxing out for some time. I left it and came back a few hours later and things quieted down so it must have done its work.

    I managed to solve this problem, the root cause was a display driver installed by TeamViewer which apparently caused a color profile issue.

     

     

    My first clue was constant errors in the ON1 log file referring to "lcmscolorprofile.cpp" and that it can't find that color profile. I searched the ON1 forums for this and one of the solutions suggested was disabling custom color profiles by visiting the Color Management settings in Windows (https://on1help.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004988972-How-to-disable-a-custom-color-profile ).

     

    But when I opened those settings I couldn't find any displays listed; only scanners and printers. This struck me as strange so I opened Device Manager to check on the display driver and found it listed as TeamViewer and not the expected Generic PnP Windows driver. So I uninstalled the device and checked the box to delete the driver (I don't use TeamViewer anymore). Windows now uses the Generic PnP monitor driver. And upon opening Color Management again I found my display listed with the proper color profile (Spyder4).

     

    After these steps I restarted Windows to make sure it's using the new settings and then when I opened ON1 again not only were the thumbnails sharp, the preset previews began showing up. Before that I only got empty boxes which I felt was strange.

     

    So hopefully this can be helpful in solving this issue.

    Rick Sammartino One catalog with RAW-files is 100% and another catalog with Jpeg's is stuck at 16% for two days now...

    Ahmad's solution didn't work for me, but I have found a sort of workaround. If I resize the thumbnails a tad then they all snap into focus. I have to do this for every top-level folder, and every time the program is launched, but it is easier than opening each folder and refreshing the previews.

    Jan,

    You may have an additional problem. If your catalog is stuck at 16%, that may be because it's stuck trying to read a file that it can't. In versions of On1 before 2020.1, you could see which individual folders were still building to get an idea of where the problem is, but we can't do that anymore so I don't know what to tell you now.

    I suppose, if I had this problem, I would restart the catalog with an empty folder and move my photo folders into it one at a time while waiting for each to finish before adding the next. That way when one gets stuck, you'll know which one it is. This would take a while of course but you should be able to narrow it down.

    great idea. I tried to refresh a whole folder like that, but I'm finding that on;y the visible thumbnails are being refreshed. still, it's a good way to speed up viewing if you need to.
