All we know is what the company has said on the web site.

It has not been released as far as I know.

Does anyone know what's happening with ON1 Video or whether it has been shelved altogether? I am holding off with upgrading my Cyberlink PowerDirector but if this is not coming in the neat future then I might not keep waiting...

It has not been shelved, last I heard, but nothing has been said about when I might become available.

    Hi Brian,

was/is there a public beta program for ON1 2022? I just want to say that I really like ON1 Photo Raw but the versions on release by nature have bugs. Unfortunately "feels like very much of them". I have no issues to report bugs to make the software better over time. I am in a similar business. Is there a way to subscribe to beta versions? I think if there is a more public beta phase where users can try and feedback, the expectations are managed in a different way and Facebook user groups are less a channel of expressing the disappointments.

    Thanks
    Gerald

There is a beta testing program, I'm a member of the team. There isn't any public announcement for it so I'd suggest you send a message to tech support and ask them about joining. Give them a CV or mini resume to show your qualifications and see what they have to say. They added me as a consolation prize after turning me down when I asked for a job. 😁

Here it is 2022.  Perhaps C-19 played a role in all of this, but is there any movement in the video side of things?  Perhaps a bit off topic, but does anyone organize their videos with On1 on the browsing module?

    Great answers

In a recent on-line interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wiz0qX1gwJA there is a passing comment from Dan that video requires a different mindset to still, or something like that. I got the impression that when they looked deeper into providing a video solution that they decided not to proceed and to focus on still photo processing.

Thank you gentlemen, I thought that might be the case (or at least some version of that).  I'm sure C-19 hasn't helped the situation.  I for one would be fine with a plugin to and from davinci, but I know that's a whole lot more of a program than what they envisioned.
