Manipulating 2 layers at same time
I have two versions of a logo- one white, the other black. I wish to place them top of another image. The logos are large so need to be "transformed" at same time so the horizontal and vertical shrink match perfectly. I then want to offset the black logo from the white one to make it a bit more visible over a complex background. I've got the three imaged stacked, but I haven't figured out how to manipulate the two logo layers concurrently. I've tried "merging" them, but it does exactly that, so I can no longer offset them from eachother once shrunk down.
I've honestly tried looking this up in the directions, but am clearly not knowing what terminology to look for. Haven't found anything under locking layers. Using 2020.1. Thanks in advance!

If I were doing this, I would load the 2 logo images alone, offset, merge and Export them, then use the resulting file to add to the Photo.
In the method your using, why can't you offset before merging?

Hi Rick-
Thanks for your input. Even if I were to start with only the two logo images, how do I grab them both together so they get transformed identically (horizontal and vertical). And then, offset once resized. And the reason I want to do it WITH the third layer of the photo, is so I can properly size and position relative to the photo. Does that make sense... or is my workflow totally wrong? Here's a grab of my screen:

Ha... I think you got me going in the right direction. I offset the two layers at full size. Now I'll merge them, and shrink them. That'll work! Doooah! Thanks for making me think this through correctly Rick! As always.
