Text tool

I have been using Lightroom.  Just tried to use text tool here.  Is there a way to add outlines etc. as there was in Lightroom.  All I seem to be able to do is bold the text.  I am not subscribed to LR anymore.  Can anyone suggest a text software that will add decent and interesting text other than just the words.  Thanks.

    The Text tool is still fairly new to On1 so it doesn't have many options yet. Hopefully, future versions will be more advanced. In the meantime, there are a few options available under the Aa icon that might help with drop shadows etc.

    Described on page 68 of the user guide...

    I find the text tool very user unfriendly. In the tutorials they make it look easy but its really not. The text tool needs a lot of work to improve it. Example: How do you select the box or get the box to show to edit or make changes. Maybe make a new tutorial explains in detail how to use the text tool.

    Yes, I found the text tool very ineffective after using an old copy of Photoshop. I also have never had success with organizing and finding my images. Well I can but it is not simple like Lightroom. Very disappointing trying to use as stand alone. After all these years avoiding subscription I am now using the trial of Photoshop and Lightroom and feel I will subscribe to save my sanity😢
