Photo Filter - Hue slider

Hi everyone.

We have Photo Filter.

Initial value of Hue slider is 240.

Now we do some little excercise and slide Hue slider to the left.

Now with mouse we select edit field and type into this field old initial value 240.

What we see ?

IMHO this is not the same blue.

Maybe You know this is as designed or it is a bug.

  I'm seeing the same thing. The colorwell is not being updated properly when you enter the values manually. This should be reported to support so the engineers can get it fixed.

  Brian.

  Maybe You know how to choose pure RED color using Hue slider.

  I know how to set red color using Color Selector (rectangle above slider).

  Value 0 or 359 (yes - 360 does'nt exist) it is not pure red.

  0 and 360 are identical. 360 mod 360 = 0. Just like 12 midnight = 0:00 AM.

  It very strange trying to select a pure color in the Photo filter. As Darek says, you can use the color picker and select pure red which is ...

  

  but if you close it and re open it without any other adjustments, it then shows...

  

  You can also select RED from the MORE list, but selecting that shows...

  

  Then, over in Local Adjustments, using Paint with Color and selecting RED shows...

  

  There doesn't seem to be a way to select pure RED and make it stick.

  There seems to be a mismatch between the Color Picker (the circle or square or place you can set specific values as Rick shows above) and what is displayed in the Photo Filter sliders. As you can see I set the Color Picker to pure red (255, 0, 0) and the Photo Filter shows a Hue of 10

  

  Even using the HSB sliders there is a difference:

  Looks like a bug to me.

  I am aware of that but try to type 360 into edit field, it goes to 359 (sorry I didn't add it)

  I submitted a bug report and asked which display (color picker or the program's slider) reflected the actual value being used and why there is a difference. If I get an answer I'll post it here.

  May be  Photo filter shows the values corrected in the ICC table....( the corrections given by monitor calibration)
