How Can I Prevent Massive HD Use
Hi folks, every time I close ON1 Photo Raw 2020, it takes 20+ min on a high-end Windows 10 laptop and creates a new 75 GB backup file. I've found where the data is located (a folder called "ND Service") and regularly delete the older versions to avoid ON1 completely constipating my hard drive.
How can I reduce the size of these backup files and decrease shut-down time? Is this related to the catalogued folders? I've successively reduced these from all pictures to the last two years to just this year (221 GB and counting). Would restricting the catalogued folders even further help? Or what is causing this massive data accumulation?
Thanks for any help.

There isn't anything you can do about the growth of that folder. I don't know what that database is used for so I don't know if cataloging has any affect on its size. These are questions you will have to ask support about.
