Thanks Brian and appreciate your efforts in testing. Being a retired professional photographer (decades) and a global enterprise IT manager (more decades), I know the effort it takes. Thank you for all of your time on testing... and on here as well!
It seems On1 are not really putting the effort in validating Android or testing methodologies are lacking. With such a prevalence of Samsung issues with current devices (and some of the most popular on the market), it's a red flag.
The bigger issue is the continued large number of bugs issues escaping on releases or taking too long to fix. Seems to me, the On1 team needs to get more Alpha/Beta testers, if this is the case and/or step up their testing. They really need a more agile CICD pipeline/release schedule to fix minor bugs vs the longer release cycles currently seen.

I've already opened a support ticket, but the mobile app is unusable on my Samsung Note 10+. I've sent up multiple logs, but very turned off by the level of issues immediately present. Multiple Samsung devices all having issues?
Camera app crashes when selected and then won't allow program to reopen.
Import from gallery or folder on phone is fine, but import from external SD card or SSD hard drive crashes after pulling in pics and then program won't reopen. I'm using the same external adapter which I use with Adobe Lightroom mobile and it works fine as well as my phone seeing the devices just fine, allowing me to copy to and from as desired.
This effectively makes the app useless for any remote work and negates any value of 360.

Just looking at Google Play this morning over coffee and seems they never tested any Samsung devices, based on the breadth of Samsung users who cannot use the app with similar issues to myself. Who in this group do they even use for beta testing?

Agreed. I have already placed a request.
Thanks

You'll have to contact support about this, sorry. I don't have access to an Android phone to do any testing with.

Probably the same issue on the Galaxy Note 9, when I try to edit a photo the picture turns into black.

Ludo,
In English for those following per Google Translate: Have Samsung a50 and also black screen when I want to edit a photo ... photo is lost too! Ps .: every photo is jpg?
Mijn telefoon is een Samsung Note 10+. JPG is ok. Fuji RAF-bestanden kunnen niet worden geüpload. (My phone is a Samsung Note 10+. JPG is ok. Fuji RAF files fail to upload.)

Jerome, I'm not only a beta tester, I'm an alpha tester as well. Unfortunately, I do not have an Android device to do my testing as I'm a Mac guy.
Everyone needs to be reporting all this to support so it can be fixed or if they have a solution it can be posted here for everyone else to see.

Same issue here with Samsung S8:black screen when I want to edit a photo

Maybe we should change the title of this thread to be overall On1 Mobile Crashes per the other thread? I just reinstalled and revalidated, here are my import issues from SD card and/or external HD..
- Single JPG and multiple JPG file screnarios work from my cameras
- Olympus ORF files seem to work (from Pen-F), in any combination/quantity with JPGs or not
- Any RAF file(s) crashes app (need to clear data and start over; creating duplicate phone entry in 360) but shell of image seems to sync, but never fully syncs (can't sort how to get this log file)... FYI, I'm using both an X100V and X100F.In the end, I need to delete the phone from 360 on the desktop (or multiple instances of the phone), delete the data in the app and/or reinstall and start over to get moving.
Anyone having issues with other raw file types? I don't have my Nikons anymore, so can't test further right now.

When I try to edit a JPG on my Samsung Galaxy Note9, the photo turns all black and syncs this black photo back to my PC.
Result: in Browse view the photo seems to be irremediably lost, but when opened in Edit view, it seems still ok.0 -
It's interesting that I have not seen the 'black' image many others have with similar phones.
I did just validate I can add those same RAF files to my desktop (which failed to upload on mobile) and then successfully sync that new folder to 360, pick up on the phone, edit and sync back to desktop.
For me, it seems the issue is only related to RAF files (maybe other raw formats) from mobile upward as well as the camera app not working at all.
Once my mobile app crashes, I have to delete all data and start over. Anybody know how to get it working again without such drastic measures?

If the "black" image looks right in the editor that seems to point to some kind of preview rendering issue. Just a guess.
Bernd, if you make any new edits does the image then render properly in the browser?

Thanks, Brian. Yes, when I do any edit, the image renders properly.
After sync'ing, it's also back to normal in ON1 Mobile!
But as soon as I switch to Edit in ON1 Mobile, it turns black again and sync's as black image on my PC.0 -
You're going to have to get support's help on this, sorry.
