2020.5 not always saving edits
Hi: I'm beginning to see many flaws in ON1 Raw. The latest is ON1 sometimes saving edits sometimes not. Usually in the past edits were always saved when one exited the program. Not now. I suppose we have to remember to click the Done button. When I reopen the program, no edits yet when I look in my image drive I find the edits file next to the image. Perhaps I'm missing something, but there is no mention of "How to Save Edits Reliably" in any of the manuals that I can see.
The program hasn't become any faster either and appears to be slower to load. And this is on a computer with all NVMe drives.
ON1 is becoming more like Luminar, more interested in bling than getting the basics right. I chose On1 because I thought it was a better replacement for Lightroom 6 than Luminar. Now not so sure. I even spent money on ON1 Plus and that doesn't work for me. Waiting patiently to hear from Tech Support as to why it doesn't. Then we get 360. What is wrong with a memory stick?
You'll gather I'm a little ticked off at ON1. Anyone else wondering about the 'benefits' of 2020.5?

Returning to Browse either by selecting Done or Browse will force a save of your edits. If you close On1 while still in Edit, I don't know what will happen.
Just because you see sidecars in the folder is not a good indicator, it doesn't mean they contain your edits, there are other things that could be in there.
If you go from Edit to Browse and you see your edits are there, then it's all working as it should. If you don't see them, then Tech support will need to address that.
Edited: One other thing, if you add a layer, don't expect to see your edits back on the original file. Those edits will be in an .onphoto file with the same name as the original.
