Have you tried quitting the app, as opposed to just closing it which leaves it running in the background, and launching it again? Swipe up on the app's window to bring it to the middle of the screen where you'll see all the running apps. Continue dragging it up until it vanishes.

When the program is launched again does your desktop show up?

yes and also deleted it on both phone and tablet and reinstalled- still the same- only shows mobile device not main computer. everything else is syncing well

I'm going to have to refer you to support then. Use the Submit a request link below. Instructions for submitting reports for 360º and ON1 Mobile are at https://on1help.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360070645532

Phil: I had the same problem. I found that adding folders from my cataloged folders on my Mac (as opposed to adding them from albums) enabled me to see my mac from my ipad and iphone. Weird, I know. I'm hoping it's a bug, not a feature.

That actually makes some sense. If a device has not published anything from a catalog then there would be no reason for it to to be shown as a source for images.

I am having this same problem.  Is adding the cataloged folders to 360 the only way to get a desktop to be recognized on a mobile device?  If so, how many cataloged folders do you recommend?  Thanks

You can sync Albums as well as Catalogs. That gives you more control over how many files you sync as you can pick and choose as you like.

I don't have any recommendations for how many. I think it mostly a matter of how much space is needed for what you do sync.

Brian, thanks for your quick response.  I did sync an album from my Mac desktop first as a test but that did not make my desktop seen on the mobile device.  The album shows up when I choose the Album icon at the bottom of the mobile app, but when I choose the 360 icon on the mobile app I still just see the blank screen telling me that other devices will appear here, but the do not.

All I can tell you is it is slow for me too. I just synced a single image, a 107.8MB dng. It took about 30 minutes to sync to my iPad and I haven't checked my iPhone yet.

I synced the album many days ago and it's still the same...no devices on the mobile.  I think I did the sync the day after ON1 360 went live.  I just upgraded the desktop app to the .1 release hoping that might fix it but it did not.  I have also sent two notes with the screenshot of the 360 screen on my iphone but have not hear anything back.

Have you force quit the Mobile app? Not uninstall, just make sure it hasn't been left running in the background. I will do that occasionally when I think the app might be hung because syncing seems to be taking forever. When I relaunch it the sync catches up and I'm able to see the images.

    Yep, did that several times.

That's all the advice I've got, sorry. You'll have to talk to support about it. Here are instructions on how to send them the log files they will want to see. https://on1help.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360071285072-How-to-submit-problem-reports-for-ON1-Mobile-and-the-360º-service

You can send them a message with the Submit a request link below.

I am seriously thinking of trying to ge try money back on the subscription! I have sent yet another report to the technical people.

After several reloading the mobile app on both phone and iPad, I am still having serious issues with syncing between the mobile devices and the main computer. I uploaded 107 photos from a photo shoot onto my iPad- shared with ON1 360 and after 24 hours there was still nothing in my folder on the iMac. I then uploaded 7 after deleting everything and starting again. The 7 still have not come across (only 1). After re-installing the app on my iPhone I took 6 photos this morning and shared them to Mobile. After 2 hours only 1 has uploaded and can be found in local photos. The folders do not seem to sync across at all. I have shared both the logs and the screenshots.

I thought it must be me, but if you look at the reviews of the app in the app store- the average score is 2!  A lot of negative comments on this app.

I love ON1 Photo raw, but this update has ruined things for me- just like Luminar they have provided an update without adequate quality assurance

After reporting this - the automatic message is that they are extremely busy since the launch of ON1 2020-5 and 360.  I wonder why!!??

As with all of you ON1 360 is not working for me.  My desktop sees my iPhone but not my laptop.  My laptop sees my iPhone, even when remote, but not my desktop.  All of this works on my home WiFi network, even though the desktop does not see the laptop and the laptop does not see the desktop, but not when I’m remote.  My iPhone sees all of my published albums. When remote my laptop does not have access to my published albums.

Great concept but I feel for the developers who must be under great pressure to get this fixed.

Tony, have you added photos to an album and shared the album from your desktop? Or shared a catalog? That is the only way your desktop will be seen from your phone. Same from your laptop. You have to shar an album or catalog from your laptop for it to be seen.

I have not heard back for several days about the issue from Technical Support. It is working sporadically but there seems to be a lot of bugs. TS seem to have given up with my case as they haven’t bothered responding.

I have cancelled my renewal for this, so disappointing

To a large extent ON1 360 is now working for me.  Either I misunderstood the capabilities and requirements of the software or the marketing videos were somewhat misleading.  It was my understanding that either a Cataloged Folder OR an album could be published on ON1 360 and would be visible to all of my devices.  I have found this not to be correct for me.  I needed to catalog the folder of images I wanted to publish on ON1 360 to get the system to work for me.  If I published only an album if images from a folder that was not cataloged the software did not share the images across my devices.

I have a Windows based system, desktop at home, laptop with me on away from home.  Through some trial and error I found that if I cataloged a folder and published it to ON1 360, then created an album of some subset of images from the cataloged folder that all of the cataloged folders, albums, and images would be available on all my devices.

I didn't think a cataloged folder was required but, at least in my case, it is.

There are still some issues but nothing that I don't expect to be addressed in future releases.
