Printing to A3
If I select A4 paper, the program fits to that size. If I set A3 the size remains as A4. If I change the dimensions to say 14x10 I then save it as a preset but although it saves, when I click on the preset it, it gives me an image turned to 90 degrees on landscape paper and without changing the size setting to that of the preset.. If I change the orientation it gives me portrait sized paper and an image in the correct orientation across the middle of the paper. Neither format gives me anything close to an A3 image. My Canon printer is correctly set up and prints perfectly in other programmes. I am new to the latest version 2020.5 but would have thought that this sort of thing would have been sorted out by now. As it stands the programme looks to be OK for A4 prints but useless for anything bigger. I looked at some previous advice on this site on printing problems

Not sure what you mean by "If I set A3 the size remains as A4", are you saying the entry doesn't change or the preview doesn't change?
With my Epson, if I select A4 I can fit or fill and both work although I get a border in either case. If I select A3 the image no longer reaches the edges...
However, if I manually change the print area settings, then I can make it fit...
Looks like a bug to me that Fill doesn't actually Fill. I'll have to report that.
So, is this the same problem that you're having?
Edit: Report sent.

Yes I think this is the problem. Fill does not fill. Defintely a bug! First image shows the extent of the fill. 2nd and 3rd show when I activate my preset which is set to 14x10 inches.

Well, one thing I see is that in the 2nd and 3rd photos you have your values entered backwards. Click the double arrow to reverse them. Then re-save your preset.

Yes I did exactly what you said namely reverse the values and then it came right. I then re saved as new preset. When I tried to retrieve 14x10 on that newly saved preset, the same thing happened as before as per my two last pictures and the values had reversed themselves.

Ok, so you should document this and have some good screenshot examples to send to Tech support. Make sure you explain clearly what's wrong and a step by step instruction (or video) would help a lot.
You can also include a link to this post in the Support request.

The new 2020.5.1 version seems to fix the A3/A4 problem, but only that problem.
I still see other problems in the print module.

I have recently downloaded 2020.5 version and it has made no difference at all. You still can not print to A3

When it was released, it looked like it was working, but now it's not again. You can still set the values manually.
Feel free to report this again and let them know.

I don't know if you have an Epson printer, but I use the free Epson Print Layout. You can print any format, multiple photos on one page and has a stunning B&W mode. Canon has a similar app.

Gerry, you are right. One can export a photo in jpg and then print as you like. But this defeats the purpose of having a print feature in ON1,

Even easier. "Select Send to Epson Print Layout". ON1 creates the jpg/tiff for you. All you have to do after is delete the image. But having said that, when ON1 delivers a usable print module, I will use that. But until then...

I am afraid that I use a Canon printer. However I have now found that in the new version I am able to set the dimensions of the image on an A3 setting and have saved as a preset.Although I had installed the new versiuon, this did not work when I tried it yesterday, but today for some reason it does work!
