    It's not a bug in Win 10.

I just tested it 2 ways...

    • select 3 images and type in a new keyword
    • select 3 images and pick a keyword from the keyword list, apply to selected

    Both work for me.

I use this feature all the time myself. I'm running Catalina on my MacBook Pro.

Can you show us a screenshot of your desktop when that message appears?

That message appears the first time you assign keywords to multiple images. If I recall, there is a checkbox to turn it off after that.

The problem is not the message, it is the fact that the keywords are not being applied to the selected images. This did not happen with v2020.1 using OS Mojave.

It isn't the message that I want to see. I want to be able to see where you are in the program & how you have things set up. It's easier to spot what I'm missing from trying to build a mental picture of what you are doing.

Did you recently upgrade your OS from Mojave to Catalina? That can mess up the program's permissions because of the underlying, invisible changes to how Catalina manages the drives. If you upgraded after installing ON1 you should reset the program's permissions. Hold the Shift key while the program launches. You'll see a dialog with options for resetting different pieces of the program's settings. Click the one on the left for macOS.

    Thanks, Brian,

I upgraded from Mojave to Catalina prior to installing ON1 2020.5, but I still went through the process that you described above, and all is now well.  Not a bug, just a mixup on permissions settings.
