How to add my own crop formats

I want to add my own crop formats 2x1 and 3x1. The format 16x9 isn't wide enough.

How do I do that?

  As far as I know there is no way to do it for the basic Crop Tool. However, in the Resize module you can define custom crop sizes with its crop tool. See page 165 in the User Guide for details.

  Thanks. Not exactly what I am looking for, but thanks anyway :-)

  I would like to have it under the basic Crop Tool.

  Frank, There is sort of an option for this. 

  Crop an image to the format you need by typing in the values in the width and height boxes.

  In the example below I used your 2X1

  

  Then Click apply

  After the crop is applied save it as a preset and have just the crop and level selected.

  

   

  As long as just the crop and level is selected when you save the preset you can apply this crop at any time without affecting other edits just by choosing the preset for it. 

   

  Of course it might be just as easy to type the 2 and 1 in the crop boxes as shown in the 1st image.

  Great tip! I always thought I needed to enter the actual pixel size in the H and W fields, but apparently lower numbers (2 and 1) also work to get the correct ratio.

  Then indeed, saving it as preset is a bit overdone.
