Bugs in 2020.5
AnsweredI thought I'd run this past the forum before contacting Support, just to see if any other Mac users can replicate it.
When I send a file to an external application, I am no longer getting the dialogue box about whether I want to send the original or a copy. On1 generates a TIF by default. When I click Apply, the external app closes as per normal and sends the edited TIF back to On1. However, it places it at the end of my thumbnail screen and I have to switch from Date Captured to Date Modified and then back to Date Captured to see it side by side with the original. I should say that sometimes it places it correctly, but it's far from consistent and I can't see a pattern.
Furthermore, I have used System preferences to create a keyboard command within On1 for Rename File (option/command/R). Sometimes it works first off, often it doesn't and I have to scroll down to it in the Edit menu. Again, I can't see a pattern.

I am no longer getting the dialogue box about whether I want to send the original or a copy. Go to Preferences > Files and turn on the checkbox to Show these options every time.
it places it at the end of my thumbnail screen… This is a bug in my opinion. When new images are added to the folder you are viewing they are appended to the end of the list and the program does not resort the view right away. Anything you do to force the view to be redrawn will cause it to also be resorted. I usually return to the parent folder then drop back into my working folder to do this. Changing the Sort order as you've done also works.

Forgot this one, sorry.
I have used System preferences to create a keyboard command… I do this too. I've found it depends upon which key combination I use.
I set Control-A to toggle the Auto Advance command off and on and it would never work while the Control-R/Control-G commands I set to toggle the Mask View Mode worked every time. I changed the Auto Advance hotkey to Option-Shift-A and it now works consistently.
Try a different key combination.

Thanks. I have no idea how Show these options every time got turned off.
I have changed the keyboard command to Option/Command/N. So far so good.
I'll continue to monitor the sorting and report it as a bug in due course.

When you use the Send To… command and the file type dialog is shown, there is an option to not show it again. That option turns off the Preference setting. You may have clicked that at some point.

Indeed I did, thinking it only applied to the Copy Options!
