Cloned my hard drive to another one and want to point catalog to new location
AnsweredIs this possible? In Lightroom I just have to point to a new location and it recovers. Cataloging was such a pain in ON1, going over 100% cpu constantly and bringing my new 2018 mac mini to a crawl, that I would hate to go through it again.

Yes, you can change the default location for where your photos are kept. Go to Preferences > General and click the Choose… button then navigate to the new drive. Unfortunately, you will have to rebuild the Catalog(s) again.

You cannot do that in ON1 vinay krishnaswamy. If you have made any changes like adding metadata or editing images, make sure the option to save .on1 sidecars is on and you have the .on1 files along with the image files that you changed.
You will have to rebuild the catalog and the previews.

Thanks guys. I did change the location and disabled the existing one. Then when touching the cataloged folder it asked for a new location and pointed to that. So apparently it works and I'm guessing it probably has to update the catalog but not completely.

Nitin, I had enabled sidecars previously as well, thanks for the info
