I'm trying out On1 for the first time, and thinking that it might be a viable replacement for LR and PS, but I haven't been able to find an answer to what I thought was a simple question.
I can't figure out how to modify a mask that's at, say, 50% density/opacity (not quite clear on those, yet) by painting it, as I'm used to doing in PS. If I want 100% or 0% opacity, it's easy. Anything in between seems to be impossible.
Setting the opacity of the brush doesn't work because it changes opacity of the existing mask instead of just adding onto it or subtracting from it. So, in this example, I've reduced the opacity of the 'keep' portion of the image (this is just a section of it), the black is obviously concealed, and the white is a bit that got missed by the Mask AI and me.
That's the bit I want to modify to match the grey part. It was black, and I was able to change it white, but I need it to match. I assume it can be done, but how?
