Catalog Question
I'm unable to remove subdirectories from my catalog using browse.
I use a directory structure for my images (YYYY\## MMM\ ##DDD). I made a catalog of 2020 which included all the subdirectories contained in \2020\. There were a few directories in the structure that were created for use during multiple months therefore did not follow the naming convention.

How is it you are attempting to remove those subdirectories? Are you trying to move them to a different location or do you want to delete them altogether?
- What steps are you taking in your attempt?
- What exactly happens? Are you getting an error message?
- Which version of the program are you running?

Peter, as far as I know the is no way to remove a subfolder from a Catalog. As you have probably seen the option to remove the cataloged folder is greyed out. you can, though, rename the folder to the correct naming convention.

If all you want is to remove a sub-folder from a Cataloged folder, that cannot be done. When you Catalog a folder its entire contents are cataloged. Only the root folder that was used to create the Catalog can be removed from the Catalog.

Thanks Brian,

I was attempting to use Browse (Win 10, stand alone, PR 2021) module "remove Catalog"
The end result was to have the subdirectories available just not cataloged. I achieved this by moving the subdirectories using the browse tab, alternatively using Windows explorer also works.
