Cannot uninstall the standalone PR Portrait AI 2021

I have successfully installed PR2021 and so far it works fine. Some delays here and there, but nothing unusual for PR.

My problem is that I have tried to uninstall the standalone Portrait AI from my computer (via the Control Panel) but nothing seems to happen. The program stays installed and works in standalone form.

I thought that the standalone Portrait AI may be sharing  files with the version within PR2021. So, I uninstalled PR 2021 and tried again to uninstall Portrait AI; but with no success.

Any ideas of how to address this issue?

  Inside the ON1 Portrait AI program folder you should find a Documentation folder and inside that is an uninstaller for the program.

  Thanks Brian for the prompt response. I cannot find such a folder (Documentation) in the Portrait AI program folder.

  In that case I would just remove it manually. Trash the following folders:

  • Remove the C:\Program Files\ON1\ON1 Portrait AI directory 
    
  • Remove the directories with "Portrait AI" in their names located in C:\ProgramData\ON1 
    
  • Remove the directories with "Portrait AI" in their names located in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\ON1 
    
  • Remove this directory C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules\Portrait AI.lrplugin 
    
  • Remove this directory C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules\Portrait AI.lrplugin 
    
  • Remove the Portrait AI files in this directory C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\External Editor Presets 
    
  • Remove the Portrait AI files in this directory C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC

  The plug-in names may not be exact, I don't have a copy to double-check with.

  I asked support about this and learned that Windows installations do not have the Documentation folder like the Mac versions. Instead the uninstaller can be found at C:\Program Files\ON1\ON1 Portrait AI 2021>Maintenancetool.exe.
