AnsweredI never experienced this before, but ever since v. 2021 I'm getting this message upon quitting.

Shutting down - Stopping Data Sources
Which remains on screen until I force quit. I'm on a late 2012 iMac 27" running Catalina OS10.15.7.
Please advise.

I'm just guessing but I think it has something to do with the 360 servers. I see that too but it does go away.
How long are you waiting before force quitting?
Have you tried deleting your settings?

Thanks for your quick response.
I quit about half an hour ago, and it's still on screen. I'll leave it up until it disappears completely, or until I shut down the Mac.
What settings should I delete? Where can I find them?0 -
Are you a 360 subscriber? Have you published any Albums? Have you tried the option to Reset 360? That will take a while to complete.
Do you use Catalogs? Are they being rebuilt? There's been some discussion here about the new 2021.0.1 update released today automatically rebuilding catalogs. That might be slowing things down.
If you think the program is hung go ahead and force quit it again. When you restart it, press the Shift key while it is launching until you see a dialog presenting you with options for deleting various settings. Start with the Delete Settings option. If that doesn't solve the problem try the Reset ON1 Photo RAW 2021 button. This option will delete all Catalogs and Albums so be prepared to rebuild them.

Thanks again for swift answer.
No 360 sub, no albums published. I do use catalogs, but none being rebuilt at present. I wonder, all my RAWfiles catalogued are located on an external HD; could that be a problem?
I'll force quit and delete settings. Thanks!0 -
All my RAW files are on an external drive too so I doubt that is the problem.
if deleting the settings doesn't work you'll have to ask support for help. Make sure to tell them you've done the delete settings thing or they'll want you to do it again. You might want to include a link to this thread to bring them up to speed on what you've done to try and fix the problem.

Delete Settings did not cure the issue, so I Reset ON1 Photo RAW 2021. Catalogues are rebuilding as we speak, but might go on for several hours. I will quit as soon as cataloguing is done, and hope the issue is solved.
I will report back.0 -
After the catalogues had been rebuilt (which took several hours), I was able to quit and no longer get that message. So it looks like Reset ON1 did the trick. Thanks for your attention and excellent suggestions!

I tried rebuilding and it did NOT help this problem.
Running on a Mac Pro with OS Mojave. I submitted a help request to On1.
It is definitely a bug in the system.

What do you mean by "rebuilding"? I'm assuming you meant deleting settings but which button did you click?
I have the same questions for you as I did for Les above,
Are you a 360 subscriber? Have you published any Albums? Have you tried the option to Reset 360? That will take a while to complete.
Do you use Catalogs? Are they being rebuilt? There's been some discussion here about the new 2021.0.1 update released today automatically rebuilding catalogs. That might be slowing things down. If you have any and they are being rebuilt let the program finish before you try to Quit it.

I have the same problem on my Windows 10 machine, and my MacBook Pro. This is after 35 minutes of waiting.

I can see from your screenshot that your RAM is pretty much maxed out at 97%. Whatever On1 is doing, I bet it's having trouble doing it.
Any chance you were building catalogs at the time?

Prior to closing On1, it was cataloging (at about 70% completion). I choose File/Exit and got that Progress dialog. About 25 mins later I opened task manager.

Ok, then let it finish cataloging first, then see how it goes.
When it's done cataloging you can still expect it to take a few minutes to shut down.

Let cataloguing indeed proceed; leave it overnight if necessary (I normally shut down my Mac at night). If still busy next day, force quit and start over. You do need some patience before the issue is fixed, but I have not experienced any problems since I started this topic and followed the instructions as given above.

The last couple of days, I have been experiencing the same problem again. Cannot quit the program without leaving the window Shutting Down - Stopping Data Sources on screen. I left my Mac on overnight, but the same window was still on screen this morning.
I'll now going to repeat the same procedure as I did a couple of months ago.1
