I Just did....foolish, should have waited for feedback first, but I decided to be a guinea pig... So far, I am missing one of my catalogued folders (it's all there, just doesn't show as catalogued (yet)). However, PR 2020 is pretty pegged in activity monitor, and I did see a message about "upgrading database".... So, I am going to just let it run its course until the activity drops back to normal, and then I'll restart and take a closer look..... I'm hoping this doesn't mean that my catalogued folders are going to have issues.

Like I said, I'll let it run and report back...

The update may be rebuilding your Catalogs. You can check on the progress by hovering over the Catalog name in the Catalogs left-side column.

There have also been instances in both 2020 & 2021 (I don't know about 2020.6 specifically) where catalogs were not showing up in the list. They still exist, they just aren't shown in the list. To recover them, some people restart the program, others go into the Editor and return to the Browser. I just tell the program to recreate one of the missing catalogs and the list is immediately refreshed with all the missing items without having to be rebuilt.

Thanks Brian, but the Catalog name isn't in the list on the left side, which is why it jumped out at me!

Given the level of activity (4 cores pretty well pegged), I'm hoping it is just rebuilding like you said. Will restart after it finishes building. Like you said, If i have to re-add as catalogues, it probably will have all the data already (I hope!).

UPDATE: after everything finished rebuilding (around an hour), the catalogued folder was still missing; restarted software and computer, still missing. Added the folder back as catalogued and it had to rebuild everything all over (previews, etc.). Edits appear to be intact, but still, not what I would call a "smooth" upgrade....

[T]he Catalog name isn't in the list on the left side Just drag that folder back to the Plus sign to recreate that Catalog and all missing catalogs should reappear. Like I said, the Catalogs are all there, it's just their names in that list that are missing. Manually adding one back to it will cause the list to be refreshed and you're back in business.

It sounds like you've been caught in both things at the same time—the display not being drawn correctly and the catalogs being rebuilt.

Thanks, Brian.... for some reason your post didn't show up in time for me to see, so I did the latter (manually adding back the catalogued folder), which explains why it's rebuilding.... Damn, I wish I'd seen your post first! ;-)
