A few weeks ago I updated my computer: I exchanged my Intel mobo and CPU for a AMD Ryzen set. The new combo pleases me a lot: speed is very high, smooth functioning of Windows and programs. The exact specs are:
MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core processor, Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro 2x16GB 3600, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1660 Gaming X 6 GB, 1 TB SSD, 1 2 TB HDD and 1 1 TB HDD, Scythe Mugen 5 PCGH Edition CPU-fan and 3 caseans: 2 x Noctua NF-S12A PWM and 1 x Noctua NF-A14 PWM
But (yes, there is always a but): after opening On1 Photo RAW 2021 the temperature of the CPU rises immediately from say 38 - 40 degrees Celsius to about 75 - 80 degrees Celsius. Not just when starting On1, but also even not using it!!
Using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop doesn't cause those very high temperatures.
Anybody any idea what might be going on and what might be a solution??
