Refresh preview

Has anyone ever had an answer from support as to why one has to "refresh preview" so often in browse view to be able to see at a glance if an image has been edited or not? I seem to have to do it almost every time I open a folder and the bug (if it is that) is still there in v 2021.

It seems to be quite random. I have refreshed the highlighted image but I know for a fact that the images to the right of it have On1 edits:

  I still have the same Problem with ON1 2023...

  The Refresh Preview command only affects the currently selected image(s).

  There is an article on how the Catalog and Browser each manage their own Preview caches that you might find helpful in understanding how all this works and what can affect the program's ability to update the screen quickly. I had to read through it a couple of times before everything fell into place for me.

  Thx, was a good read. I reinstalled the App and the Problem seems solved.
