What you want to do is reset the photo's settings. You can click the Reset All button, or go to Settings > Reset All Settings, or Right-click the image and choose the Reset Settings command from the contextual menu.

Unfortunately those commands are permanent unless you immediately use the Undo command. If you have a Time Machine backup you can recover them by restoring the .on1 sidecar file from a time when it contained the edits.

I'm sorry but I misunderstood your question. I thought you wanted them permanently removed. If all you want is to temporarily view the original image you can press the \ key while you are in the Editor. That will turn off the preview. Pressing it a second time returns you to the edited view.

In the Editor there is also the Compare view (Command-Y) which will split the image in half to show a before and after.

If you don't want to lose your edits, then make a version and reset that. It will leave the original edits in place.

You can make a version in both Browse by Right-Clicking and while still in Edit from the menu.

Thank you gents, some valuable information here. I did resort to creating a version, but it did strike me as a little long winded.

Now that I know it will become more automatic. Seems to me there is not a lot of information on this topic..or..am I just lazy ?

    Stay safe and go carefully.

There is a list of hotkeys on the last page of the User Guide. It is also covered in the section Before/After Previews starting on page 113.

ON1's User Guide is pretty good.

Brian, A word of caution regarding versions. A version is a virtual copy of the original photo. If you create a version and happen to like it after some edits to it  -- DO NOT delete the original photo the version was created from. If you do the version will be deleted as well. You can delete a Version without affecting the original photo.
