How to find recently edited photos
Is there a way to create an adanced search based on the edit-date? For example I want to find all Phtos I have EDITED yesterday or last week. Currently I only see options for creation date.
I know there is this "Recent" section available. But it shows way too less photos and could accidentially be cleared.

Update. I tried also to just sort all photos by "date modified" but this does not seem to check the modification of the photo in ON1 but the file-modification-date itself. :(
Any help is really apreciated. :-)

As far as I can tell, there is no Edit Date recorded anywhere, so there is no way to search for that. However, the edit date would be the Modified Date of the Sidecar (.on1). You can't search for that in On1, but you can with your PC's browser.
You would need to search for the .on1 files and then sort with newest date first.

Hi Rick,
thanks for this tip. It is a okayish workaround. But being able to find them directly in ON1 would be much better.

Hi,
Just wanted to add that I'd love to see this feature added! I use it all the time in Lightroom. I put all the photos from a shoot in a folder, and when I'm done I like to easily filter only the edited ones and batch export them. It's a pain to wade through tons of photos, clicking on each edited one individually, in order to do that :(
Unless I'm missing something in the new version and it's been added somewhere?

I mark the photos I've finished editing with a color Flag. It's easy to search for a color to find what I've finished working on for exporting.

I add a tag to mine to mark that they are done.

And if you forget those manual steps you can´t find them again....
It would be really easy to add as a similar feature is already available with the "recent photos" pane. But it is limited to like 5 photos....0 -
Well...this is still a feature I really really hope gets added in the future.
I know a visible icon gets added in the corner of the thumbnails when you've edited one. Couldn't a sorting tag be auto-generated and applied as well when you edit an image so you don't have to manually tag them?

The problem with non-destructive editing, is that it's not the photo that gets modified, it's the sidecar. If On1 could search for the modified date on the sidecar, then we wouldn't have a problem. Unfortunately, the sidecar is only considered the storage place for edits and not part of the process.
You can find recently edited files outside of On1 though but you'd need to search for the sidecars and use that filename to identify the photos.
This is an example of a photo that I just edited a few minutes ago. The modified date of the sidecar identifies the date and time that it was edited down to the minute.

On1 Just posted a new video on Youtube called "A sneak peak at advanced search". It looks like some nice changes coming to search. One item I noticed although they didn't discuss it is a search field named "Edited" . I bet this will be what folks are looking for. Sounds like they will have more videos coming on the upcoming changes to search.

Here's the link to the video.

Yes Rick that is what I was referring too in my comment above. There is also the Edited item two below the highlighted Date item.
