ON1 Bug fixes
Is anyone else experiencing similar frustration to me?
In September 2018, I raised a ticket with ON1 because ON1 was not recognising my Panasonic TZ200 compact camera lens despite it being on the list of approved cameras. After responding to multiple requests to upload RAW photos, ON1 finally acknowledged that there was a bug in the software.
In April 2020 they said "After consulting with our QA team they have confirmed that this bug fix is slated for our next major update to ON1 Photo RAW 2020 which will be 2020.5. We will let you know as soon as this update is available for download."
In November 2020 they said "The bug fix is still being worked on and slated for our .1 update. Most likely sometime in early 2021."
I have just installed 2021.1 and the bug has still not been fixed!
The suggested workaround to create and apply a lens style does not work. This is a 15 times optical zoom camera. A style created at the wide end will distort the long end!
I have invested a lot of time and money using ON1 but having to revert to Silkypix to process my Panasonic RAW images is a complete pain.
Do you think ON1 is just fobbing with promises they will fix this bug?
See example of ON1 distortion attached RAW on left, JPEG on right.

No, I don't think they are making empty promises. I think it may be more a matter of priority. Problems reported by relatively few users get less attention than those which affect more people.
I would write support again and politely complain again. You did a good job with this post. Ask them why it is taking so long. Ask if you can escalate this to someone higher up the chain of command.
