Default Start Location in Map View

I live in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK. Can I set the map view default location to Sheffield rather than Portland, Oregon (which I am sure is a lovely place).

It may be possible but I cannot find out how to do it.

  Suggestions for map improvements, I posted years ago in PR Project page (some requests were yet similar).

  For center map, zoom, Portland, issues and attemps to get a correct setting, it's boring me; from time to time I try other settings but never get the good one, anyway don't worry it's a little problem; another I can't solve is the disappearing cursor of my mouse when I scroll in catalogs panel and sometimes while in browse/grid mode no cursor... Maybe a new topic ?
