After too many occurrences of "shutting down stopping data sources", resetting and rebuilding my catalogue, I would like to start all over again. For instance, I can remove folders (the ones below "2020" are apparently folders that the program catalogued from my TimeMachine) one by one (! Why not all at a time?),
but after quitting the program and relaunching ON1 2021.1, they're back again, and I can start trying to remove them once more!
I have now decided I want to rebuild my catalogue entirely from scratch. Photos are all located on an external HD in a yyyy/mm/dd folder structure, and I plan to add the 'year' folders one by one.
But first I would like to get rid of those 'ghost folders', from a volume (my TimeCapsule) that is only online when it's time for a new backup and that I do not want to have in my catalogue.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions that would help.
What probably would help is to know where the database is located so that I can drag that to the bin in order to start over.
