(Here is a copy of a post that I made on "General discussions" 2 weeks ago but I got no answer, so ... I try here ;) )
Sorry to say that but I'm really fed up with ON1 printing problems.
Previously were the sizing and positioning issues (never really solved). Sizing & margins settings are more a game of luck than a predictable work.
But the ultimate has been reached with ON1-2021 (184.108.40.20648).
With this release, the print result is always an ugly rough draft.
It seems that ON1 totally ignores the specific setup of the printer and send to the printer a "draft request". The first proof of that is that the printing is very fast, it should normally be 3 to 4 times longer (minimum).
The config is :
MAC Book-pro / Big Sur (last release 11.2.3)
Printer : EPSON STylus Pro 4800, last EPSON driver for Big Sur : 10.85
It is clear that the problem is coming from the handling of the printer by ON1 and NOT from my MAC/OS/Printer/driver configuration because if, rather than printing directly from ON1, I export the photo to a file (PDF or TIFF) and then print this file with another software (ie : Adobe reader), the result is perfect. (So I have a workaround but it is not convenient for printing many pictures)
Anyone has got a similar problem ?
Thanks for your help
