I assume you are talking about using the program ON1 Photo RAW 2021 which is not compatible with the iPad. Your only option is ON1 Photo RAW for Mobile.

I don't know if the program will allow access to an external hard drive or not. That is something you would have to ask tech support. You can use the Submit a request link below to contact them.

Thanks, Brian. Yes, I mean using Photo RAW 2021 with the iPad. I have On1 360, will that work? Or I can download Photo RAW for Mobile.  I'll check with Tech Support about the external hard drive.

ON1 360 is the cloud service now called Cloud Sync. Yes, what you want is Photo RAW for mobile.

I am using Photo Raw 2021 + Cloud sync. Had to get used to it how it worked as I had thought it would work like Apple Photos. But Cloud Sync has a special touch to it. If you open Photo Raw mobile on your iPad then you will see the photos you have locally stored on your iPad. Or if you switch to sync then you will see an icon for the photos you have "locally" stored on your other devices. You don't get to see them as one group like with Apple Photos. Once you're used to it it is ok but it is still a bit of a workaround
