Apparently, no Noise is free if you have a subscription. There is no clarification on WHAT subscription, so yes,  it may be free for Plus Pro.

If you have Plus Pro, you'll know before we do.

If you are an ON1 Plus Pro member, you receive a perpetual copy of the latest ON1 Photo RAW software each year with your subscription. NoNoise AI will be incorporated into the next release of ON1 Photo RAW (likely version 2022), and as an active ON1 Plus Pro member, you receive a free upgrade to this version in the Fall.

Similarly, if you have an ON1 Photo RAW subscription, you have access to the latest version of ON1 Photo RAW (2020, 2021, 2022) with your subscription, and NoNoise AI will be accessible in the next release of ON1 Photo RAW.

If I pre order NoNoise AI now, will that cost be deducted should I then decide to upgrade to Photoraw 2022 when it becomes available since the latter will include NoNoise AI anyway?

    That's very doubtful.

    Kahlie,

Does this mean we will have to wait until Fall and PR2022 while others will have it in June?

This looks a terrific product and I was on the point to buy DXO product for this very same capability. Thanks On1 for making this new product!  It is a game changer for me and several older photos.

@Brian Lawson it’d be unfortunate if ON1 required long standing users either to pay now or wait till autumn and pay again. Hopefully ON1 will reply officially

    Peter,

I don't think that happened with Portrait AI. I just use it on trial until it expired and then it wasn't long before Photo Raw 2021 came out.

Whether it's going to be a game changer remains to be seen. It would be difficult for it to leapfrog Topaz DeNoise AI, which has seen many upgrades recently, including the excellent Low Light model; and the next iteration will add an even stronger, Severe, model.

And Topaz just offered a $20 discount for their Denoise module.

Well this is unfortunate. According to Kahlie (a few weeks ago), NoNoise AI will be a part of the 2022 version. I'm an ON1 Plus Pro member. Yet, when I inquired about whether NoNoise AI would be included in a later version or in an update I was told it wouldn't be. So, I bought the program for $39.99 thinking it would not be available any other way. On top of that I renewed my Plus Pro membership on the same day. Ouch!

You can request a refund. As a Plus Pro member you will get 2022 when it is released and it is supposed to include the NoNoise feature.

    Thanks Brian.

Who do I specifically write to about this?

Thanks Brian. I will do that and see what they can do.

Thanks again Brian. Kahlie replied quickly to my query and was very helpful. I have come to expect nothing less from those that represent ON1.
