I have used On1 products since before the company was "On1", after they acquired Genuine Fractals. Generally, there are few things I use On1 Photo RAW to do, but I still (for some reason) keep my version up to date.
One reason I don't use On1 Photo much is because it seems to have lousy skin color (On1 Color), and every attempt to do a custom camera profile yields even worse results. To be honest, I wouldn't like Lightroom much if I couldn't use a custom camera profile I create. The difference is DCP profiles are superior to ICC profiles for On1. (I also own DxO which produces much better color and skin tones because it uses my DCP profiles for my EOS R and EOS R5.)
Just now, I tried On1 yet again. And yet again, gross skin tones. I'd love to hear how anyone else has had success creating a quality camera profile for On1. I have followed to a "T" the video On1 produced outlining creating a TIFF file for use in the custom camera profile.
