Camera Profiles When Using Topaz as Plugin
AnsweredHi, Have my own camera file/s installed (Sony A9) when I apply to the image in the Develop module it works fine but when I send the image to Topaz Denoise or Sharpen the image comes back into On1 2021 showing camera profile greyed out as On1 Standard so just checking as greyed out does this mean that the image camera profile has not been applied again from my option/s when it comes back in to On1 2021? Also I have made a mistake of creating two profiles with different names but same result how can I delete one from the Camera Profile list in On1 2021? Thankyou. Russ.

Camera Profiles are only available for RAW files from Tier 1 cameras — those that Photo RAW is able to demosaic. For Tier 2 cameras, which rely on the OS to do the demosaicing, and non-raw files the Camera Profiles are not being applied. When you send the file to Topaz either you are letting PR export a TIFF for it or you are giving it the RAW file directly so the file returned by Topaz cannot make use of the profiles any more.
When you Import a Camera Profile the program simply copies that file to its own folder.
Mac: ~/Application Support/ON1/Common 2021/Camera Profiles
Win: C:/Users/<user>/AppData/Roaming/ON1/Common 2021/Camera Profiles
You can also add new profiles by copying them to that folder without using the Import command but they won't be recognized until the next time the program is launched.
