Edit in NoNoise AI 2021 Not Working (Lightroom)
AnsweredAfter installing the application, the Edit In ON1 NoNoise AI 2021 does not seem to be working.
I tried Opening a Copy with LR edits and Opening Original. When Opening copy, it creates a copy but does not open the program.
Sending the file through Plug-In Manager works fine, but the LR Stub does not seem to be working. I also tested opening from Adobe PS and it works fine there.
I've also created a new external editor preset pointing to the stand-alone app but the roundtrips seemed a little bit wonky.

I will like to add, that I un-installed the program and re-installed with the same results.

Hi Eduardo, I'm sorry but I'm going to have to refer you to tech support for this. These forums are for user to user help and I don't have access to Lightroom to do any testing with to figure out what might be going on.
Please contact them with the Submit a request link below.

Thanks Brian Lawson, I have submitted a request but wanted to see if anybody else was having a similar experience.

Same experience on my M1 Mac mini. Works with C1P....not LrC.

ON has posted an article on how to launch the program in different ways. The preferred method is with the File > Plug-in Extras menu. Other threads here on the forums are reporting that supports knows about the problem and the developers are working on a fix.

Having similar issue on MacBook Pro. NoNoise AI runs as stand alone or through Plug-in Manager but doesn't not even try to launch automatically and load the image for NoNoise AI edits from Lightroom. I see in Lightroom NoNoise AI is listed as a "standalone." Does Lightroom need the plug-in installed separately?

No, this is a known problem that the engineers are working on.

Go FILE > PLUGIN EXTRAS and then select NoNoise.

Yes, we understand there is an alternative processing path by using the Plug-in Extra, but the problem still persist with the Edit In path.
And again, this is something ON1 offered and installed as part of the installation. As stated elsewhere, I am observing a heavy vignette when processing using the Plug-In Extra, as shown here:

Yes, we understand there is an alternative processing path by using the Plug-in Extra, but the problem still persist with the Edit In path. The engineers are already working to fix this.
I am observing a heavy vignette when processing using the Plug-In Extra… This should be reported to support so it can be fixed.

I have already submitted a ticket in regarding this matter. The response I got was that I should use the Plug-in Extra workflow. No different than what's stated here in this forum. I've just added the Heavy Vignette issue I see to the ticket.
