The program misleads the masks
I would like to know if anyone suffers from the same problem.
In the edit module, when I open a filter on Effects, the program opens it and quickly moves the filter menu down so that it hides the filter mask icon and shows the icon of the common Effects mask, so that in many sometimes I discover after creating the mask that I have created it in the wrong place. Of course the solution is easy, copy the mask, reset it and paste it in the right place.
Would it be very difficult for the Effects mask icon to be different or a different color than the filter mask icons?

I've done the same thing a few times, and it is a pain. Having a different colour or shape is a good idea.

I agree, I've complained about this as well and helped more than one person masking the wrong area.
If you don't need the info pane you can hide it and Layers to make the stack easier to use.

The same thing happens when a new local adjustment is added. The panel appears scrolled down about halfway, so you cannot be sure which adjustment you are about to work on. I reported this to ON1 the other day. I was told it would be passed to the development team for a possible solution in a future release. Hopefully this will also fix the Effects Filters, because it is really the same problem.

Indeed Roger, it is the same case and induces the same error.
Since you have communicated it to On1, we hope that it will be remedied, the more users report this problem, the easier it will be for them to fix it.

Experiencing the same problems with this tool. The dropdown hides the other features and doesn't contract back up - just stays rolled down hiding important tools. Please make some changes...

Bryan, I don't think you're referring to the same problem that the rest of us are. Can you post a screenshot of the problem that you're seeing?

Roger Gough is talking about the same thing as what I confronted with masks today... very frustrating.

Would you please show us a screenshot of what you are seeing?
