Exporting from LR and back

I'm exporting from LR using DNG. If I try PSD format I get a message about it not being a RAW and not optimal. When using DNG I do select "Edit a Copy with LR settings" but when it comes back to LR any cropping and preselected profile (like a camera profile) does not seem to apply. I read the documentation and found this.             

NOTE: The Color Space, Bit Depth and Resolution options are not applicable when the export file type is set to DNG.

 Also while I'm here when you export from DXO PL back to LR you can still choose a camera, etc profile. You can't with NoNoise. I don't understand the tech behind this but it is possible do make that work?

  There is also this from Page 11...

  If you have added settings in Lightroom to the original photos, those edits will not appear automatically in the new DNG file. You can use Lightroom’s Copy and Paste Settings options or Sync settings to apply the edited image’s settings to the NoNoise-processed DNG.

  The only options available are in the preferences. I think the general agreement is that they should be off, but I could be mistaken.

  Thanks. Disable Base corrections was checked.
