Latest release 0f On1 2021.5
AnsweredA few days ago I opened On1 RAW 2021.5 and was informed there was a new version available, which I duly downloaded and installed.
I am now running v 15.5.1.10782 but the program looks and feels exactly the same as the previous version I was running.
Can anyone tell me where I can find details of the changes in the new edition, or what the changes are (if any)?

Unfortunately the only details the company has released are "Bug Fixes". It was primarily to support other changes made to NoNoise AI which was also updated on the same day.

Ah! The old "Bug Fix" release.
That explains why I cannot see any differences (and I don't recall suffering any "bugs" either.)Thanks for the information.

There were several, the most obvious being the darkening of the .dng that was returned to Photo RAW. I believe the fixes to Photo RAW were in support of those NNAI fixes.

.dng doesn't form any part of my workflow, so I guess that's why I have not seen those problems.
.dng is one thing about NoNoise that my exclude it from my workflow, but I'll make that call when NoNoise becomes an integrated part of On1.

Once it is integrated there will no longer be any need to get the cleaned up image back into Photo RAW since everything will be done right there.
NoNoise works best when it is given an unprocessed RAW file to work with. It offers the .dng format as a choice to return your photo to the whatever program you're going to use to process the image in order to keep the image in a raw format for as long as possible.

I might be imagining this, but I think that the constant recataloguing bug may also have been fixed. I recently lost all of my catalogues. But, I needed to recreate a copuple of them. Previously this would have invoked hours of the CPU running at close to 100%. This time the CPU ran at 4 to 10% and the new catalogues were soon at 100%. Since then they don't seem to be recataloguing, unless I add a new image.
