saving noise reduction and sharpening settings as presets
AnsweredThe user guide shows option for saving noise reduction and sharpening settings as presets, but it seems to be absent on the windows version

Are you talking about page 52 where it talks about the Save Settings as Preset command? That appears to be a copy/paste documentation error. They probably copied that text from the Photo RAW manual. As far as I know the only slider settings presets are those offered for the default settings in Preferences > General tab.
The only Presets we can save are for the Export panel settings.

Yes exactly on page 52 of the user manual it is mentioned,
that would be a useful basic feature to add0 -
I just received a message from Stevie in tech support. He said that part of the User Guide is in error and that section should have been removed before it was published.
Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the clarification, can you suggest them to add the simple but useful feature?

Manjeet,
Don't forget that if you used Effects Filters for Noise Reduction and Sharpening, just like any Filter, you could save your settings as a Style. In turn, the Styles could then be saved in a Preset.

Manjeet, I'm just another user like yourself. These forums are meant for users to help each other and the company rarely posts here.
They have created the ON1 Photo RAW Project page where we can make suggestions for new features or other improvements to the program. Even though it says Photo RAW I'm sure you can make a suggestion for any of ON1's products there. You should post your request there for the company to see. They won't do anything with it unless enough users vote for the idea.

it says
You must own ON1 Photo RAW

Manjeet,
It is now apparent to me that your post relates to the NoNoise product. My comments are therefore irrelevant.
Your post made no reference to NoNoise, and your description could easily be applied to the Photo Raw product. This explains my confusion.
Brian, Rick, maybe it is time to ask ON1 to add a product name field at the time posts are created??!!
