2022 upgrade and plugins

I'm having trouble understanding the change for plugins. I contacted support, but didn't get a straight answer.

Okay, I want to pay for the upgrade. But I already own the separate plugins for NoNoise and the like. I get it that these are now built into the 2022 On1 program, and I need to buy the plugin set separately if I wish to use these outside of On1.

One instance references the plugins like NoNoise as being 'new versions' for 2022. But nowhere can I find what is different about them.

Bottom line. What would I gain from buying the plugin bundle, as opposed to just the 2022 On1 Photo Raw upgrade? If the plugins are the same as the old ones, nothing gained because I already own them and can run them inside Photoshop. So what's improved with these, or is it nothing?
