ON1 Photo Raw 2022 Photoshop
Good afternoon everyone.
I just installed ON1 Photo Raw 22, but I don't see it integrated into Photoshop.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks.

Well, it sucks. If I can't send an image from Photoshop to ON1 I'm going to stop my subscription.

I’ve asked for a refund. The upgrade process was misleading. Many people are having this issue.

I'm a long time ON1 user but I uninstalled 2022 and reinstalled 2021. My subscription runs till next month and I will cancel it.

Shame on me for not exploring this. I have enjoyed using On1 over the years and gained great value using the individual products to what eventually morphed into this suite. I have blindly/automatically upgraded with every new release, which may not have always been the smartest thing, but I never regretted it.
Sadly, this is the end of the line for me. This just does not work for my work flow. I use Capture One and PhotoShop and this old dog is not going to add in yet another program. I'll continue to happily use 2021 via PhotoShop. I have requested a refund.

Me too. im done if plug ins are not included. Ive been a long time uiser, but this new policy does not fit my workflow. Will not renew!

If you have a standard subscription to On1, i.e. not a grandfathered Plus Pro subscription, the FAQ on the website says that this will include both the standalone product and the full set of plugins. The 2022 set of plugins will be released in due course. At the moment they match the 2021 modules so you could continue to use On1 2021 as your plugins until the full release of the plugin set.

Hello, Raw 2022 is not offered as a plug-in on the sell page that was posted.
Also, why isn't a Photoshop plug-in offered anymore?

Since I have paid for the subscription, I will use it, but do not want to continue next year. I would like to know how to unsubscribe, because I just subscribed to the 160 add-on pack
1 -
Why? David just told you that the subscription does include the plug-ins you want. Right now they will be for the 2021 versions, except for NoNoise AI which is 2022, and you will get the 2022 versions once they are ready. You haven't lost anything.

Hey Brian Lawson, are you an ON1 employee or just a shill? In either case, you should be sanctioned. Some of us have been backing the company since Day 1 and are just trying to figure things out. You have offered conflicting information in your comments on this thread. That doesn't help the confusion. In NO announcement I received does it say that the Photoshop plug-ins are no longer included, or that they will be released later. And if any of this has been "discussed to death here." I performed a search of topics and none of it came up.

Since this continues, I will try not to leave ON1, but it will not be like Photo Raw, but individual applications that do link to Photoshop. I have no choice but to go really fast with my wedding photos. Two or three shows is absurd to me.

I am another user of ON1 since its beginnings, but now I feel misled and taken advantage of with the PR2022 version I pre-ordered. I would NOT have paid for this product had I known the plugins were not included as they have been with every previous version. No, I didn't read the comments here because my time has been very limited and I am only here now because I wanted to see how many other disappointed customers like me there are. I'm noticing they have upset a lot of their customers, and I hope smarter heads will prevail and make this right before they lose any more. I'm borderline right now and awaiting their response to my letter to Customer Service.

Photo RAW 2022 no longer no longer includes the plug-ins for other software. They are now sold separately. The only plug-in that it comes with is one to do the migration from Lightroom to Photo RAW.

Thanks.
Can you tell me where I can get it?
I would like it, since you told me that it is sold separately

Ok. Thanks again

Because the company made the decision to separate the plug-ins and their stand-alone modules from the Photo RAW program. This has been discussed to death here. Just search for it and you'll find more discussion on both sides than you can stand.

Contact Kahlie Mulgrew in Customer Service. She can answer those questions and help you manage your account or issue refunds.

I resent your implications. I am neither an employee nor a shill, just another user trying to help.

There was is thread https://on1help.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4407787536013-On1-PR2022-pre-orders.
While I can't remember what was in emails sent out about pre-order the announcement blog at https://www.on1.com/blog/on1-photo-raw-2022-the-ultimate-photo-editor-coming-soon/ did say that full On1 2022 could not be called as a plugin and that the separate 2022 plugins bundle would come in late fall.

I also saw a lot of discussion about the plug-in change in various threads. Here's other threads on it - these were NOT at all hard to find On1 plugin NON Support – ON1 Support (zendesk.com) 2022 upgrade and plugins – ON1 Support (zendesk.com)

Hi there, is the plugin package already available for subscribers and where can we download it?
I mainly use Effects with photoshop and would like to be able to access it through photoshop.
Thanks in advance.

Not yet, sorry. They should be released before the end of the month.

I too mave been buying into this product since day one. Upgraded every year and always enjoyed it. This year I paid for an On 1 360 subscription for CAD $160 and then CAD $250 for the On 1 Photo RAW 2022 upgrade with the plugins. Now when I’m working in Photoshop and crack open On 1 Effects, it runs On 1 Effects, but there’s no longer access to Photo RAW itself, nor the tabbed links to all the products on the control panel. A really bad game changer for me! What sorcery is this? Why would you ruin what was a nice smooth workflow? Not only that, but i see absolutely no difference between 2021 and 2022 modules- there’s zero new stuff! Zero. Feel like I just got ripped off big time. Oh, and despite much effort and many support emails, I could never, ever , get On 1 360 to work - at all - ever. Zippo. The last really useful and complete version of this product was the 2018 version.

Can't help with the plugin problem, but if you think 2022 has no new features I'd say you're not looking very hard. 2022 is the best feature upgrade in a long time.
By the way, there is no one from On1 in this forum, just other users here.

Phil,
I thought that all subscribers got access to On1 and the plugins as part of the subscription, so why did you need to buy the upgrade? Perhaps you need to check with customer support to see if you have paid twice for the same things.
As for the change I believe that it was partly driven by a desire to reduce the complexity of the full On1 package by removing the need to have code that managed how it had to behave differently when used standalone from when called as a plugin.

Hi David - I think you are correct about the subscription. I have written to customer service. Strange that I received no notice or correspondence informing me about the upgrade/release of Photo RAW 2022 and the fact that it is now sold with the plugins separately. Not having access to Photo Raw from within photoshop is a limitation rather than a feature for me, as it feels as though my workflow has slowed down significantly. Thanks again for your help. Cheers

If subscription allows you to have both 2021 and 2022 installed then keep on using 2021 as plugin, as you say in terms of the Effects plugin virtually nothing has changed other than the availability to use line masks and layers within Effects, both of which can be done in Photoshop anyway.
With the latest 2021.6 release being Apple Silicon native I have installed it alongside 2022 on a new M1 iMac for rare times I might want to use On1 as Photoshop plugin.

Really such a shame. It was once an excellent product, but now basically useless.

It's not useless. If you need plugins, then buy the plugins. Those that don't need them, don't have to pay for them. It's pretty simple to figure out.
