You'll have to ask tech support for help with the Timelapse feature. I haven't been able to get it to work either. One thing I have noticed is that in the demonstration videos they are using at least 100 photos. I wonder if there is a minimum number needed. The User Guide doesn't say there is a minimum.

You're missing out on a lot of good stuff. I've been running it on my M1 Mini for about a month now and it works great. The time-lapse is the only thing I'm currently having trouble with.

    Hi,

yesterday tried the first time the TL module. 400 pics, developed, synced, TL, analyzing 96% -> crashed, ON1 PhotoRAW closed, every time I've tried, the same result.

Today I was give it another try, was working. Yesterday I did the entire procedure on the SD Card in an extra Folder. Today I did it on my HDD. Once with the developed RAW files and once with as JPEG exported. Both worked, but the RAW one is darker than the JPEG one, don't know why.

Have to test some more times.

    Markus,

Where is your Scratch space located and how much free space is there on that drive? If the program fills the drive with scratch data it will crash. Hudson Henry discovered this and was the one to suggest the ability for us to change the Scratch space location. I have an SSD that is dedicated to just Scratch and the PerfectBrowseCache for just this reason. All my photo editing software makes use of that drive but that isn't a problem since only one of them will be using it at any given time even if I have more than one of them open.

For your successful test, how do the raw files compare to their jpeg counter parts? I would expect the processed jpegs could be brighter to begin with so they would produce a brighter video.

    Hi Brain,

on my 2nd HDD, few 100 MB and ca. 50 GB free space. But maybe ON1 wanted write something on the SD Card instead 🤷‍♂️ I will try & test that someday.

The jpegs seem to be brighter in the mp4. But why should the jpeg be brighter than the edited RAW, it's exported from the final RAW. I will test that to. I was doing it like in that video with Dylan Kotecki. The first setting is FAST RAW,  thats what I was choosing.

Wasn't there a feature to choose the direction of the video to create, forward, backward?

No, there is no control for choosing the direction of the video. There was some discussion here on the Forums about it but I'm not able to find it right now. If I remember correctly selecting the files in reverse order would cause the video to be generated in reverse.
