    It really does not matter. The NoNoise processing always happens first. You won't even see your edits when you are using it. The editing pipeline, the order in which processing of your edits takes place, is described on page 11 of the User Guide although it does not seem to have been updated to include where NNAI falls but it is at the beginning, while the photo is being demosaiced. It removes the noise from the RAW data before it is assembled into an image.

    In the 2022 user guide I downloaded the editing pipeline is described on page 68 (document page number). There is a note on the Development tab section saying that if NoNoise is used it is applied to the base image and beneath the retouching and other Development settings.
