So you are not using the native screen resolution, is that right? How do they look at 2880x1800?

The 'default for display' resolution is scaled to appear as 1680x1050: the problem still exists there.

The highest available resolution in System Preferences is 1920x1200, the problem still exists, and the screenshot looks identical:

Hmm, MacTracker reports 2880 by 1800 for the native screen resolution. The other resolutions are scaled. You'll have to talk to support about it then, sorry.

2880x1800 may be the native resolution of the panel, but it's not available in System Preferences; the only way to access it is through a third-party utility like SwitchResX.

The 'standard' resolution is scaled 1680x1050; I bump it down to 1440x900 to make it easier for my needs-bifocals-now eyes to read.

I'll buy that because of the Retina display. This isn't anything we have any kind of control over. I don't know why it would appear that way on your screen's standard resolution. To me it looks like the filled version is missing the outline stroke that defines the unfilled version.

I would report it to tech support. Include the screen shots.

I have a similar problem, the stars are the right size, but the rest is very small and hard to see. They are all the same in both thumbnails and filmstrip but correct in the info pane.

It's 2023 and I thought they had removed stars and hearts altogether! After reading all this I played with the size of my filmstrip and found out it was 1/8" too small for them to show LOL! I'm using a Retina display and they look just fine using the M1 studio Mac....
