Nas storage and multiple devices.
Hi
I'm about to run the trial of On1Raw 2022, but since it is only 14 days, I want to get setup quickly to maximise time using it to check stability, reliability, and suitable functionality.
I want to use my synology nas to sync edits and - if possible - library.
I believe edits and keywords are synced via sidecar files stored in the same folder as the image. Is that correct?
Is it possible to also store the library database (photo organisation structure) in a synced folder (Stored in a local folder on the Mac - but synced via the NAS to a local folder on the other devices)?
What about sync of edits and library to an iPad?
In other words, can I replicate all (or most) of the functionality of 360, via my NAS?

Yes, that is correct. They are also stored in an internal database inside your user account's ~/Library/Application Support/ON1 folder.

You'll have to ask tech support about this. I've never tried it.

I don't believe so but I can't say for certain. Tech support should be able to give you an answer.

I don't use mobile version yet but I heard that photos are stored only in some library, not as normal photos with sidecar files. Is it true?
I think that this would be a way to avoid local cloud workaround instead of 360 service.

Yes, the photos are stored in a library which is inside the program's protected data space. There is no way to access it from outside the program. If you want to share your work across multiple devices you need the cloud service.
