    Ok, glad you have it resolved, but you need to report this to On1 support. Nothing we users can do about it.

     Good observation.   Out of general principal I never update from inside the program. I download the new installer directly from my On1 products page to my local drive and install from the executable. One huge benefit is it gives the possibility to roll back to a previous version if necessary. ( I add the version number to the executable file when I download it so I know which is which )

    I agree with David, it's the most reliable way and it would have avoided this problem.

    Makes sense to download the file. I have done that before and kept the install files to roll back if needed. I will submit a report to support. I just wanted to get the word out as others may find the same issue. Thanks for reminding me about downloading the install files.
