On1 2022 Plugins not installing

    Restart your computer then run the installers again.

    Have you checked the Task Manager to see what it is that is running and try killing it?

    Other than that I'll have to refer you to tech support.

    Done that too. It's a bit frustrating.

    You'd think that the installer would be able to tell us which running program it found and make it easier for us to solve. It has to know which one it is.

    You would think. I have support ticket open and will wait for them to respond. Thanks for the help

    When you say no other programs are installed, what about your host programs like Lightroom? If none of those are installed there won't be anywhere for the plugin to install to.

    I know the error doesn't say that, but it could be an unknown error that isn't being handled correctly.

    That won't keep the installer from installing the stand-alone program however. It just skips the steps where the actual plug-ins are installed in their respective apps. I think Michael's problem is that the installer won't even install its app.

    I am having a similar problem on a Mac (Catalina OS) - the installer simply starts then eventually dies
