On1 2022 Plugins not installing
I am having trouble installing the five ON1 2022 Plugins to install. I get an Installer Error message: The installer has detected an application running that will interfere with ON1 "Plugin Name" 2022 installation. Please close any Lightroom, Photoshop, Affinity Photo, Corel PaintShop Pro, Capture One or ON1 product before proceeding. The installer will not close.
No programs are running. In fact, I rebuilt my Windows 10 PC. No other photo application are installed. I have turned off my virus and firewall software and nothing.

Restart your computer then run the installers again.

Been doing that. Nothing

Have you checked the Task Manager to see what it is that is running and try killing it?
Other than that I'll have to refer you to tech support.

Done that too. It's a bit frustrating.

You'd think that the installer would be able to tell us which running program it found and make it easier for us to solve. It has to know which one it is.

You would think. I have support ticket open and will wait for them to respond. Thanks for the help

When you say no other programs are installed, what about your host programs like Lightroom? If none of those are installed there won't be anywhere for the plugin to install to.
I know the error doesn't say that, but it could be an unknown error that isn't being handled correctly.

That won't keep the installer from installing the stand-alone program however. It just skips the steps where the actual plug-ins are installed in their respective apps. I think Michael's problem is that the installer won't even install its app.

I am having a similar problem on a Mac (Catalina OS) - the installer simply starts then eventually dies

You'll have to contact Tech Support about this Geoff, sorry.
