Before applying the noise reduction duplicate the Layer then use NoNoise on the top Layer. You can mask it out of the Layer where it isn't wanted.

Thanks. I wonder why they didnt implement it as a filter or an adjustment? Your solution will work fine, though

    Great answers

NoNoise works best when applied to RAW data, a filter or adjustment would only be able to work on image after the RAW data has been processed. A duplicated layer allows the second run of NoNoise to go back to working on the RAW data.

That is exactly how the standalone NoNoise works in selectively applying masking.

With more training NoNoise may make a better job of removing noise from RGB images so that it could be included in updated Noise Reduction filter and local adjustment setting in future updates/releases of PhotoRAW.
