Since moving to W11 a week or so ago my impression is that ON1 PR 20202 (latest build) has slowed down in two areas 1) on start up. It can take up to around 40secs before anything happens and 2) when I use the browse to look at nested folders after moving to another set there is a long delay of several secs before it will display thumbnails again. I have tried catalogues but its better but there is still a delay. I have about 100K images a mix of mostly RAW as well as jpegs. I have reinstalled ON1 twice recently when updating the GPU f/w to see if it makes any difference. I have a 10th gen i5 with 32GB RAM and Samsung SSD's throughout with a dedicated SSD for the browse caches. USing a Gigabyte Vision G mobo. My graphics card is a RTX2070 with 8GB VRAM and with latest Studio f/w from Nvidia. I also have Lightrroom 6 which tON1 replaced when I started with ON1 2020 and it takes just a few secs to display the file /folder trees on start up. I love what ON1 can ?do as an editor but surely I can expect quicker and faster response times. PS I have set teh preferebces to 80% fro system and VRAM memory and the GPU has been tried at 70 to 100%. I also force via W11 and Nvidia settings the GPU to be used on ON1. Am I missing something obvious or are my expectations to high. I should add that I also use Serif's Affinity as my Photoshop equivalent when ON1 doesnt do what I want and that is so fast and smooth! I really would welcome some suggestions.
