You cannot disable that, sorry. I see it from time to time myself. I just force quit the program and report it to support. You can try the Reset Cloud Sync button in Preferences > Cloud Sync.

Thanks so much for your help, Brian.  I don't have a Cloud Sync tab inside Preferences on my Mac.  Am I looking in the wrong place?

Yes, look in Photo RAW's Preferences. 😉

I posted to the Facebook group so that I could include a screenshot to get your help.  Thanks.

Which version of which program are you running?

So Photo RAW 2022. I have to assume that you don't have that tab because you are not subscribed to the service. Looking in the User Guide (pg 241) it supports that theory, "If you have subscribed to the ON1 Cloud Sync service…". I wasn't aware of that before, sorry.

Do you have the mobile app installed on your phone or tablet? I don't recall seeing the program hang on that disconnecting message since I removed it from both my devices.

I do have the mobile app on my phone.  I will take it off and see if that helps.  On the mobile app, if I click the Cloud button, it tells me the rates to subscribe.  So I'd be surprised if having the app on my phone would delay the desktop app from closing, but who knows.

Thanks so much for your continued efforts to help us all stay happy with On1 PR.

This is just opinion but I suspect that because you are signed in to the mobile app there is some kind of sync checking that is still taking place. I was using Cloud Sync but stopped. I unpublished all my albums and use the Reset button but it would still hang about 20% of the time so I removed the app from my mobile devices. I don't remember the last time the program hung there.

FWIW, I also never had any problems with force quitting the program. That can lead to problems when it happens while you're still using the program but because this is coming at the very end of the quit processing it seems to be OK.

    Did that solve the problem?

Wow!  Seems to have made a big difference.  I was in the program when I got your message, so I quit, which worked quickly, but I didn't trust that.  So I re-opened the program, browsed around a little, and then quit again, and it quit very quickly!  Fascinating.    Thanks for sticking with this to help me resolve it, Brian! :-)

The program now hangs about half the time when I try to exit.  So frustrating.  Anyone else have this problem?

Yes and I reported it to Support. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update. I just Force Quit and it doesn't seem to do any harm.

(Support also told me to reset the programme, they always do, but it didn't make any difference.)
